New Beginings

The Drum roll PLEASE!!
I have spent countless hours staring out my beautiful new windows, (8 of them in the front room and 3 in the back room) from the best seat in the house... Which is my beautiful new overstuffed amazing couch.. practically new that came my way magically a couple of days before I moved in. It is the only furniture I have aside from this makeshift desk I put together with 2 trunks and a board. So far I have been able to retrieve 90% of what is irreplaceable from my former home... which means artwork and journals. As far as Art supplies and work in progress which pretty much means everything that has to do with my Electric Water Work... Well I got a court order and an escort to go back and get the rest this week. I just have to make the arrangements. So, in the meantime I have been writing sleeping and looking out these beautiful windows. Writing has been my way of naturally processing grief, and walking has been my #1 choice for dealing with stress. 3 to 8 miles a day for the past few months. I am in pretty good shape... I really need it too. I still have a long way to go in starting this new life I am undertaking. This summer is the first time in about 25 years I have been alone in a quiet space for extended periods of time and I am loving it. If you haven't gotten an invitation to come over yet, it isn't because I don't love you... even my son has only been over once. He is spending the summer with a friend. He will be living here with me for the next schoolyear however to finish his Senior year of High school. I now have a refridgerator and a microwave... The stove is coming soon...
